Well This Makes Jurassic Park Even Worse

Not only was it fully of schlocky Spielberg directing. It was historically inaccurate. In yet more news that ruins all our childhood notions of dinosaurs (since Triceratops apparently didn't technically exist), they are now rather convinced that the T Rex looked like big bird.

Except bigger.

Feel free to want to cry. It's normal. It's also normal to remember I could technically say they were actually zig zag patterned with little plastic crowns on top and possibly be correct.

Mega Score: Scientists Make Woolly Mammoth Blood

It appears that awesome factories of awesomeness  scientists have created synthetic woolly mammoth blood. The scientists extracted DNA from 43,000 year old bones and then added it to E coil bacteria which replicated the substance and created blood that they say would be the exact same as a real live mammoth. They also imply that the science can be used for any extinct species as long as DNA is present.

In other words, Jurassic Park will be the destination of my 90th birthday. Except the cheese will kill me before then, it's outside giving me shifty eyes as we speak.

Thanks to Emily for the tip.
